Guitar Pro 5.0 comes with the Realistic Sound Engine, and is thus approx 170mb, while 5.1 does not have the Realistic Sound Engine, but does come with many tabs.
I have installed both, and decided to uninstall 5.1 and reinstall 5.0. I think the few bugs they found wasnt worth the realistic sounds in 5.0. I run 5.0 without any problems. It does help alot, if it sounds like the actual song, and does help alot when you are composing your own song.
